About Project: Design of a vital signs measurement device for home use. Aimed at neonates and adults. The device allows measuring body temperature through the ear, monitoring blood oxygen saturation and heart rate.

History:

  • Device designed in its first version.
  • A device has been built and is in the testing and improvement stage.

About Project: We support the technical management of the design of heat exchangers for server plants. We develop protocols for the implementation of information management and technical documentation.

History:

  • We model the proposed design in an efficient and friendly way for future updates.
  • We manage the technical documentation in a clear and orderly manner.
  • We release sufficient technical information for the manufacture of the product in mass.

Apyx

About Project: Device designed to increase efficiency during aesthetic liposuction surgical procedures. While this device makes these procedures more efficient, it also decreases the surgeon’s physical effort. An innovative device developed to compete with low prices.

History:

  • Two proposals were designed for this device with different mechanisms each.
  • Prototypes of each of the proposals were manufactured.
  • The best prototypes were tested after iterations of each of the proposals in simulated medical procedures very close to reality obtaining expected results.

  • Create models, prints and generate BOM .

  • Took prototype design and created models and print.
  • New design was modular and able to scale up production as needed.

  • Size motors to be able to decap 96 vials simultaneously utilizing the smallest footprint possible.
  • Determine torque and speed parameters.
  • Design all mechanical component and interfacing components to mate with vial caps.
  • Work with electrical and software to define controllers and connectors.
  • Mitigate heat generated from 96 controllers.

Our History

  • Sized motors and finalized entire prototype design.
  • Kicked off all machined parts and built first prototype.
  • Successfully communicated to all motors and decapped vials as needed.

Multitool

About Project

  • It is a tool designed and developed for heavy and light duty work.
  • This multitool is prepared to cut 6 gauge wire, it has 4 additional practical tools: Knife Bucket, Phillips tool, Flat Tool, Toothpick Fruit Blade.
  • All its tools including the wire cutting blades are replaceable.
  • It is an easy to carry tool due to its light size.
  • It is designed with materials that are highly resistant to corrosion and aggressive environments.

  • Designed device and received project approval to kick off 125 piece initial v&v run.
  • Got tasked with assembly of the device and we built all initial units.
  • Client used units for initial trials and received funding to help project advance towards production release.

  • Outside housing was predefined and we had to develop all the inner components to finalize the design.
  • Design and kick off injection molded housing.
  • Interface with electrical team to develop and fit multiple pcbs.
  • Test device to ensure proper dosing and software functionality.
